Ramasimhan Aboobakker Quits BJP..! I Want To Move With Dharma

Malayalam film director, Follower of Sangha Parivar Ramasimhan Aboobakker has tendered his resignation from the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP). He was a member of the BJP’s Kerala unit and his relations with the leadership had soured.

He was born Ali Akbar, In 2021 December left Islam and converted to Hinduism along with his wife. After converting to Hinduism, he adopted the name Ramasimhan.

Announcing his resignation from the BJP, Aboobakker said that he was “not a slave to any political party” anymore. Ramasimhan had earlier said that the Kerala BJP leadership was not giving enough consideration to artists.

On thursday he wrote in Facebook his resignation. “Artists are not a showpiece during elections. The party should know that artists take the world forward” he added.

However, Aboobakker declared his loyality to PM Narendra Modi. “I will always support PM Narendra Modi,” he said.

Notably, known Malayalam director Rajasenan and senior Malayalam actor Bheeman Raghu also resigned from BJP and joined CPI(M) a few days back.
