Los Angeles: Three-time Olympic medalist and American fast runner Tori Bowie (32) tragically was found dead in her home on May 2, and now her cause of death has been revealed. The report states that Bowie died from complications of childbirth, as she was nearly eight months pregnant and “undergoing labor” at the time of her death.
Eight months pregnant, she is alone at home in Orange County, Florida. She had collapsed in labor pains. At that time they may experience distress (eclampsia and slip into coma during labour). The doctor said that the postmortem revealed that he died due to high blood pressure.
Surprisingly, doctors said the baby was in the process of coming out of the womb when Tori died. Tori won a gold medal in the 4x100m relay at the 2016 Rio Olympics. Meanwhile, he won silver in 100 meters and bronze in 200 meters.
Torey’s death has been mourned by his family, including famous American runner Justin Gattin. Gattin said Torrey was a fierce competitor to his opponents.
