Thiruvananthapuram: A young woman who got married a fortnight ago was found dead in her husband’s house. Sona (22), wife of Thannichankuzhi Vipin of Thiruvananthapuram, was found hanging inside the room.
This case came to light last night around 11.30. Her husband first saw Sona hanging herself. They tried to take him to the hospital immediately, but Sona died. Both were love marriages. Kattakkada police have registered a case of unnatural death.
Police are interrogating her husband. The Kattakkada police have sent the dead body to Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital for postmortem. Sona was an employee of an Aadhaar writing firm in Kattakkada.
